Habitat for Humanity

Health, education, and economic benefits.

For over a decade, we have proudly supported Habitat for Humanity,
a nonprofit organization that empowers people in local communities worldwide to build a house they can call home. We make yearly donations and have volunteered to help them achieve their important goal of building strength, stability, and self-reliance through housing.

In September 2023, we sent a team to Berceni, Romania, to construct and wallpaper the homes of 12 families. Our dedicated team members worked hard side by side with the families to help them create a brighter future for themselves. It was an honor to fulfill our mission and help the families create a more beautiful, colorful, and diverse world.

Our purpose at Gimmersta Wallpaper is to help our customers create a place they desire and call their home. The right to have a home is one of our core beliefs, and that’s why we’ve supported Habitat for Humanity for over ten years and are committed to continuing to do so.

According to Habitat for Humanity, housing is an important element of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and an essential driver for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Adequate and affordable housing leads to health, education, and economic benefits.

Housing improvement is often a ladder out of poverty for families. These changes benefit the larger community, reducing inequality and building resilience against economic and natural disasters.
